Terms and Conditions of Use and Booking
Last updated: 18 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern access to irantrainticket.com, use of its services, and all orders and bookings made through the website.
Please read these Terms carefully before using the website or completing a booking.
By creating an account, placing an order, making a payment or selecting the option confirming your acceptance, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not complete a booking.
1. Service Provider
Iran Train Ticket is a travel-services platform and trading name operated by and forming part of Markar Travel.
Markar Travel is an officially registered Iranian travel agency authorised to sell passenger train tickets for Iran’s railway network.
Official contact details:
Website: https://irantrainticket.com/
Email: info@irantrainticket.com
WhatsApp: +98 933 440 6373
Operating Travel Agency: Markar Travel
Country of Registration: Iran
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
- “Website” means
irantrainticket.com. - “Iran Train Ticket”, “we”, “us” or “Service Provider” means the platform operated by Markar Travel.
- “Customer” means the person who places or pays for an order.
- “Passenger” means the person in whose name a ticket or travel service is issued.
- “Operator” or “Carrier” means the railway company, bus company or other provider that physically operates the journey.
- “Booking” means a request to purchase a ticket or travel service.
- “Booking Confirmation” means an official message from Iran Train Ticket confirming that the booking has been accepted and the ticket has been issued.
- “Base Ticket Price” means the price of the ticket before any service charge, payment fee or optional service is added.
The Customer and Passenger may be different people. In that case, the Customer is responsible for making these Terms and all relevant travel conditions available to every Passenger included in the Booking.
3. Role of Iran Train Ticket
Iran Train Ticket may provide the following services:
- Searching for routes and transport services;
- Displaying available travel options;
- Receiving orders and Passenger information;
- Processing payments;
- Coordinating with Operators;
- Purchasing, issuing and delivering tickets;
- Providing Booking-related support;
- Receiving and processing amendment or cancellation requests.
Iran Train Ticket is not itself a railway company or bus company and does not physically operate transport services.
The contract of carriage is formed between the Passenger and the relevant Operator. The Operator’s conditions of carriage may also apply to the journey, baggage, station attendance, amendments and Passenger rights.
This does not remove Iran Train Ticket’s responsibility for services that it provides directly, including correct order processing, handling payments, transferring Passenger information and issuing tickets.
4. Eligibility to Use the Services
To place an order, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old; or
- Act with the permission and under the responsibility of an adult;
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a contract;
- Provide accurate and complete information;
- Use an authorised payment method.
A Booking for a Passenger under 18 must be made by a parent, legal guardian or authorised adult.
Some Operators may impose specific conditions on travel by minors.
5. Booking and Contract Formation
Displaying a route, price or available capacity in the search results does not, by itself, confirm a Booking.
The Booking process generally includes the following steps:
- The Customer selects a route and travel service.
- The Customer enters the required Passenger information.
- The Customer reviews the price, charges and applicable conditions.
- The Customer accepts these Terms and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
- The Customer completes the payment.
- Iran Train Ticket reviews the order and requests or processes ticket issuance.
- The ticket or final Booking Confirmation is sent to the Customer.
An automatic order acknowledgement or payment receipt confirms only that the order and payment have been received. It does not necessarily mean that the ticket has been issued.
A Booking becomes final when the ticket is issued or final confirmation is sent through an official communication channel.
6. Inability to Issue a Ticket
In some cases, the selected capacity may no longer be available after payment, or the Operator may change the price or schedule before the ticket is issued.
If Iran Train Ticket cannot issue the selected ticket, the Customer may choose one of the following options:
- A refund of the Euro amount received for the service that could not be issued;
- An alternative service;
- A change of date or departure time;
- Payment of a fare difference for an alternative option, only with the Customer’s express agreement.
No additional amount will be charged without the Customer’s consent.
Website credit or a voucher will not replace a monetary refund without the Customer’s agreement.
7. Prices and Reference Currency
The Euro (EUR) is the reference currency for all prices, payments, charges and refunds processed by Iran Train Ticket.
The reference amount for each transaction is the Euro amount displayed on the payment page and recorded in the payment confirmation and Booking details as received by Iran Train Ticket.
If the Customer’s card or account is denominated in another currency, the currency conversion will be performed by the Customer’s bank, card issuer or payment provider.
Unless caused by an error by Iran Train Ticket, Iran Train Ticket is not responsible for:
- The exchange rate applied by the Customer’s bank;
- Exchange-rate fluctuations;
- Currency-conversion fees;
- Intermediary bank charges;
- Differences between the converted amount on the payment and refund dates.
8. Price and Charge Transparency
Before payment, the Customer must be given an opportunity to review:
- The Base Ticket Price;
- The Iran Train Ticket service charge;
- Charges for optional services;
- Payment gateway or processing fees, where applicable;
- The final amount payable in Euros;
- The principal cancellation and refund conditions.
No optional service may be added to an order without the Customer’s express agreement.
Paid options must not be imposed through pre-selected choices.
The final payment button must clearly indicate that selecting it creates an obligation to pay.
9. Pricing or Information Errors
Iran Train Ticket takes reasonable steps to display accurate prices, availability and travel information. However, information received from an Operator may occasionally be delayed or incorrect.
If an obvious error in the price, route, departure time or capacity is identified before ticket issuance:
- The Customer will be informed;
- The correct price or information will be provided;
- The Customer may accept the corrected conditions or cancel the order;
- If the order is cancelled, the Euro amount received for the unissued service will be refunded.
Iran Train Ticket will not charge an additional amount to the Customer’s payment method without the Customer’s consent.
10. Payment
The Customer confirms that:
- They are authorised to use the selected payment method;
- The payment information is accurate;
- The payment is being made for a lawful purpose;
- They are not using another person’s card or account without permission.
A payment may be rejected, delayed or held by a bank or payment provider.
Iran Train Ticket may request reasonable additional information or documentation to prevent fraud or misuse. Any request must be proportionate to the transaction risk and handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
If a transaction appears unauthorised, fraudulent or otherwise suspicious, the Booking may be suspended or cancelled while it is reviewed.
11. Duplicate or Unsuccessful Payments
If the Customer believes that an amount has been charged more than once, they should contact Iran Train Ticket through an official channel and provide the Booking reference and payment evidence.
If a duplicate payment caused by Iran Train Ticket or its payment provider is confirmed, the additional amount will be refunded.
A failed status displayed on the website does not always mean that no amount was charged. Before attempting payment again, the Customer should check their bank account and Booking status or contact support.
12. Passenger Information
The Customer is responsible for entering each Passenger’s details exactly as they appear on the Passenger’s accepted identification document or passport.
Required information may include:
- Full name;
- Date of birth;
- Nationality;
- Passport or identification number;
- Passport expiry date;
- Gender, where required by the Operator;
- Contact details;
- Other information required by the Operator.
Iran Train Ticket is not responsible for consequences resulting from incorrect information entered by the Customer, unless the error was introduced during processing by Iran Train Ticket.
13. Seat, Berth and Compartment Allocation
13.1. Allocation of Seats and Compartments
Seat numbers, berths, coaches and compartments are allocated through the Carrier’s system and by the relevant Operator. Iran Train Ticket does not have complete or direct control over this allocation.
Due to the limited availability of train and bus seats, it is not always possible to allocate adjacent seats to all Passengers in the same Booking.
13.2. Reasonable Efforts to Allocate Adjacent Seats
Iran Train Ticket will make reasonable efforts to obtain adjacent seats, berths or compartments for Passengers included in the same Booking.
However, adjacent seating cannot be guaranteed. Where the remaining availability is distributed across different parts of a train or bus, tickets for Passengers in the same Booking may be issued in:
- Separate seats;
- Different rows;
- Different compartments;
- Different coaches;
- Different parts of a bus.
To avoid losing the remaining available capacity, Iran Train Ticket may issue available tickets even where the seats, berths, compartments or coaches are separate.
By accepting these Terms, the Customer acknowledges that including multiple Passengers in one Booking does not guarantee adjacent seating.
13.3. Essential Adjacent-Seating Requirements
If sitting together is an essential requirement, the Customer must contact Iran Train Ticket through an official channel before making payment.
This is particularly important when the Booking includes:
- A child;
- An elderly Passenger requiring assistance;
- A Passenger with a disability or reduced mobility;
- A Passenger who depends on the assistance of a companion.
Even where a request has been submitted in advance, adjacent seating is guaranteed only if Iran Train Ticket expressly confirms that guarantee in writing.
13.4. No Official Seat Changes After Ticket Issuance
After a ticket has been issued, Iran Train Ticket does not have the technical access or official authority to change a Passenger’s seat number, berth, compartment or coach.
An official change after ticket issuance is possible only if permitted by the railway company or bus Operator and suitable capacity remains available.
Iran Train Ticket cannot guarantee that such a change will be approved.
13.5. Informal Changes During the Journey
In many cases, the train manager, onboard staff, bus supervisor or other Operator personnel may review the available capacity and help Passengers sit closer together.
Other Passengers may also voluntarily agree to exchange seats.
However:
- Such an arrangement is informal and is not guaranteed;
- It depends entirely on available capacity, staff agreement and the cooperation of other Passengers;
- No Passenger is required to exchange their allocated seat;
- Iran Train Ticket does not control the decisions of staff or other Passengers;
- An inability to arrange a seat change does not, by itself, mean that the ticket was issued incorrectly.
13.6. Cancellation Because Seats Are Separate
Unless adjacent seats were expressly guaranteed in writing before purchase, separate seats do not create a right to free cancellation or a full refund.
A cancellation request made because seats are separate will be processed in accordance with the Cancellation and Refund Policy and its applicable deadlines and charges.
If Iran Train Ticket expressly guaranteed adjacent seats in writing but issued tickets contrary to that guarantee, the matter will be treated as a Booking discrepancy. The Customer may request correction, a suitable alternative or another proportionate remedy.
14. Travel Documents, Visas and Entry Requirements
The Passenger is responsible for obtaining and checking:
- A valid passport;
- A visa or entry permit, where required;
- Identification accepted by the Operator;
- Permissions required for a minor to travel;
- Any applicable health or legal documents;
- Documents required at a station or border.
Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee that a Passenger will receive a visa, be permitted to enter Iran or be accepted by the relevant authorities.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, general information on the website does not constitute legal or immigration advice.
15. Ticket Issuance and Delivery
A ticket or Booking Confirmation may be delivered through one or more of the following methods:
- Email;
- The Customer’s account or Manage Booking section;
- Official WhatsApp;
- Another method disclosed during the Booking process.
The Customer is responsible for:
- Providing a correct email address and telephone number;
- Checking Spam and Junk folders;
- Downloading and reviewing the ticket;
- Reporting any error without unnecessary delay;
- Carrying the ticket and required documents during the journey.
If the ticket is not received within the stated processing period, the Customer should contact support before placing another order.
16. Checking the Ticket After Delivery
Immediately after receiving a ticket, the Customer must check:
- Passenger names;
- Passport or identification information;
- Origin and destination;
- Departure date and time;
- Operator name;
- Train or bus number;
- Seat, berth or compartment details.
Any discrepancy should be reported immediately through an official channel.
If the error was caused by Iran Train Ticket, correction will be handled without an additional Iran Train Ticket service charge.
If the error resulted from information entered by the Customer, correction may be subject to the Operator’s rules, a fare difference or a reissuance charge.
17. Arrival at the Station and Boarding
The Passenger is responsible for allowing sufficient time to arrive at the station, locate the correct platform or departure area, complete identification checks and board the service.
Late arrival, missing documents or attendance at the wrong station may result in a missed journey and the ticket becoming non-refundable.
Recommended arrival times may vary by route and Operator and should be checked in the ticket information or relevant travel guidance.
18. Baggage and Personal Belongings
Baggage weight, size and content restrictions are determined by the Operator.
The Passenger is responsible for checking the rules relating to:
- Baggage allowance;
- Prohibited items;
- Excess baggage;
- Animals;
- Special equipment;
- Valuable or fragile items.
Iran Train Ticket does not decide whether baggage will be accepted by the Operator. However, Iran Train Ticket will take reasonable steps to make available any relevant information received from the Operator.
19. Customer Amendments and Cancellations
All cancellation and refund requests are governed by the separate Cancellation and Refund Policy:
https://irantrainticket.com/cancellation-policy/
The Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
Passenger transport tickets are not subject to a general and unconditional 14-day cooling-off right. Voluntary cancellations are processed according to the deadlines, charges and conditions set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
A request to change the travel date, route, Passenger name or other Passenger details may require cancellation of the original ticket and issuance of a new ticket.
20. Cancellation or Amendment by the Operator
For operational, technical, safety or legal reasons, an Operator may:
- Cancel a journey;
- Change the departure time;
- Change the route or station;
- Change the train or bus type;
- Change the allocated seat, coach or compartment.
When Iran Train Ticket receives relevant information, it will take reasonable steps to inform the Customer without unnecessary delay.
The Passenger’s rights in these circumstances are determined by the Operator’s conditions and any mandatory applicable laws.
If the Operator cancels the journey, or Iran Train Ticket cannot issue a paid ticket, the charges applicable to voluntary customer cancellations will not apply.
21. Delays and Missed Connections
Iran Train Ticket displays departure information provided by the Operator but does not control the physical operation or timing of transport services.
When arranging a connecting flight, train, bus, tour, accommodation or transfer, the Passenger should allow reasonable time for possible delays.
Iran Train Ticket is not responsible for indirect losses caused by an Operator’s delay unless the loss resulted directly from Iran Train Ticket’s own breach or mandatory law provides otherwise.
22. Bus Tickets
Bus ticket Bookings may be subject to the specific terms of the relevant bus Operator.
These conditions may cover:
- Required arrival time at the terminal;
- Baggage allowance;
- Amendments and cancellations;
- Intermediate stops;
- Bus type;
- Seat or vehicle changes.
Any material or restrictive condition must be disclosed before payment or included in the ticket information.
23. Station Transfers and Rail Tours
Railway station transfers, rail tours and combined travel services may be subject to separate service-specific terms.
Before purchasing such a service, the Customer should be provided with:
- Services included and excluded;
- Final price;
- Itinerary;
- Cancellation conditions;
- Minimum Passenger numbers, where applicable;
- The provider responsible for each part;
- Passenger requirements.
Where there is a conflict, the service-specific terms will apply only to that service and only where they were clearly presented before payment.
24. Customer Accounts
The Customer is responsible for keeping their account login details confidential.
The Customer must not:
- Disclose login details to an unauthorised person;
- Use another person’s account without permission;
- Use an account to create false Bookings;
- Interfere with the security of the website.
Activity carried out through a Customer account may be treated as authorised by that Customer unless the account was misused without the Customer’s fault and the misuse was reported promptly.
25. Permitted Use of the Website
The website may be used only for lawful personal purposes or authorised commercial purposes related to travel booking.
The following activities are prohibited:
- Providing false information;
- Creating fictitious or test Bookings;
- Using an unauthorised card or account;
- Large-scale automated extraction of website data;
- Attempting to compromise or bypass security;
- Interfering with website operation;
- Unauthorised resale of services;
- Deliberate exploitation of an error, incorrect price or discount code;
- Impersonating a Customer, Passenger or member of staff.
Iran Train Ticket may proportionately restrict access associated with suspicious, abusive or unlawful activity.
26. Intellectual Property
Original website content, including text, design, logos, original images, page structures and travel guides, belongs to Iran Train Ticket, Markar Travel or the relevant rights holder.
Copying, republishing, selling or commercially exploiting this content without written permission is prohibited.
Limited personal use of information for travel planning is permitted.
27. Third-Party Links and Services
The website may link to third-party websites, payment services, maps or other external services.
Iran Train Ticket is not responsible for the independent content or operation of third parties. However, this does not exclude Iran Train Ticket’s responsibility for an unreasonable choice of provider or for incorrectly directing a Customer.
The Customer should also review the relevant third party’s terms and privacy policy.
28. Website Availability
Iran Train Ticket takes reasonable steps to keep the website and Booking system available, stable and secure.
Access may be temporarily restricted because of maintenance, technical failure, internet disruption, Operator system failure or circumstances outside Iran Train Ticket’s reasonable control.
If an interruption occurs after payment, the Customer should check the order status or contact support before attempting another payment.
29. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Iran Train Ticket’s liability for:
- Fraud or deliberate misrepresentation;
- Gross negligence;
- An unauthorised charge caused by Iran Train Ticket;
- Failure to perform Iran Train Ticket’s direct contractual obligations;
- Rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Iran Train Ticket is not responsible for the physical operation of transport services by an Operator.
To the extent permitted by law, Iran Train Ticket is not liable for indirect, business-related or unforeseeable losses caused by an Operator or another third party.
This limitation does not prevent a Customer from claiming direct and foreseeable loss resulting from Iran Train Ticket’s own breach.
30. Events Outside Reasonable Control
Neither party will be responsible for delay or non-performance directly caused by an event outside that party’s reasonable control.
Such events may include:
- Natural disasters;
- War or widespread civil unrest;
- Government restrictions;
- Public emergencies;
- Major banking or communication network failures;
- Route closures;
- Serious safety incidents.
The affected party must take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of the event.
This section does not automatically remove the Customer’s right to a refund for a service that was not provided where the relevant amount is refundable.
31. Privacy and Personal Information
To process a Booking, Passenger information may need to be shared with:
- The transport Operator;
- A payment provider;
- A ticket-issuing provider;
- A technical service provider;
- A competent authority where legally required.
Personal information will be processed in accordance with the website’s Privacy Policy.
The Customer confirms that they have permission to provide the personal information of every other Passenger included in the Booking.
32. Electronic Communications
The Customer agrees that Booking-related communications may be sent by email, through the Customer account, by text message or through official WhatsApp.
The Customer is responsible for keeping their contact details accurate and active.
Official communication channels are:
Email: info@irantrainticket.com
WhatsApp: +98 933 440 6373
Website: https://irantrainticket.com/
Marketing communications require separate consent. Acceptance of these Terms does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive marketing messages.
33. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If a problem arises, the Customer should first contact Iran Train Ticket through an official channel and provide:
- The Booking reference;
- A description of the issue;
- The requested outcome;
- Relevant documents and correspondence.
Iran Train Ticket will take reasonable steps to acknowledge the complaint and aims to provide a substantive response within 10 working days.
If the complaint is not resolved through support, the parties should make reasonable efforts to resolve the dispute amicably before beginning court proceedings.
This section does not restrict the Customer’s right to contact their bank, card issuer, regulator or competent court.
34. Governing Law
These Terms and the service contract with Iran Train Ticket are generally governed by the laws of Iran.
The contract of carriage between the Passenger and Operator may be subject to other laws and regulations applicable to that Operator or route.
The choice of Iranian law does not remove any mandatory and non-waivable consumer rights that may apply under the law of the Customer’s country of residence.
If these Terms conflict with a mandatory applicable law, that mandatory law will prevail to the extent of the conflict.
35. Competent Jurisdiction
If a dispute cannot be resolved through communication and negotiation, it may be referred to a court or authority with jurisdiction under applicable law.
Nothing in this section is intended to unfairly restrict a consumer’s mandatory right to bring a claim before a court or authority that is legally competent to hear it.
36. Changes to These Terms
Iran Train Ticket may amend these Terms for future Bookings.
The version presented to and accepted by the Customer when an order is placed and paid for will generally apply to that Booking.
A later amendment will not retrospectively reduce the Customer’s rights in relation to an existing Booking unless the change is required by mandatory law.
The date of the latest revision will be displayed at the beginning of this page.
37. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply as far as legally possible.
The invalid provision should be interpreted or adjusted only to the minimum extent required to make it lawful and consistent with its fair purpose.
38. No Waiver
A delay or failure to exercise a right does not mean that the right has been permanently waived.
Any valid waiver must be clear and limited to the relevant matter.
39. Transfer of the Contract
Iran Train Ticket will not transfer its obligations in a manner that reduces the Customer’s rights unless the Customer is properly informed or the transfer is legally permitted and does not reduce consumer protection.
The Customer may not transfer a Booking or ticket to another person contrary to the Operator’s rules.
40. Language Versions
These Terms may be published in more than one language.
The version presented to and accepted by the Customer during the Booking process will form the basis of that contract.
The Terms must be interpreted clearly and fairly. A translation must not be used to create a hidden obligation or an unexpected reduction in the Customer’s rights.
41. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with the following documents and information, form the contractual agreement relating to Iran Train Ticket’s services:
- The Cancellation and Refund Policy;
- The Privacy Policy;
- Service-specific conditions presented for a ticket or service;
- The order summary and Booking Confirmation.
Where there is a conflict, a service-specific condition will take priority only for that service and only where it was clearly disclosed before payment.
42. Acceptance of These Terms
Before payment, the following checkbox should be displayed in an unticked state and selected personally by the Customer:
I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
“Terms and Conditions” and “Cancellation and Refund Policy” must link to their respective pages.
The date and time of acceptance, the accepted version of the Terms, the order reference and the technical information reasonably necessary to demonstrate consent may be recorded in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
